If you know me or have worked with me, I often mention timing. When you are ready for success it will appear. When you are ready for the next relationship, you will meet the person of your dreams. There are endings and beginnings which are all a part of a cycle.
This has always been a belief for me. I trust that when the timing is right, things will happen. It doesn’t mean I sit around doing nothing, but I understand that somethings are out of my control, like the weather and that when the planets align, so will my life.
Seems like I’m not the only one who thinks this and they wrote this book to prove using scientific research that timing does matter.
One of my biggest takeaways from a section in the middle of the book titled FIVE WAYS TO COMBAT A MIDLIFE SLUMP…(which is a real thing according to the research), there is a definition from Brene Brown on midlife. She says it’s the period when the universe grabs your shoulders and tells you ‘I’m not f-ing around, use the gifts you were given.”
The wellbeing slump in the midlife graph says it all and should give people hope knowing that such a thing exists.
This book also mentions the larks, the owls and the third-birds in relation to sleep cycles and when you are most productive throughout the day and planning your day accordingly. I have always been aware that I am an early bird, a lark. I can get 10 times more done first thing in the morning than I could ever do at night. Not all jobs or lifestyles will allow you to make changes but having this awareness can be a real advantage and boost your productivity.
A love a book the confirms what I have known to be true and gives some great tools to implement into your life.
WHEN the timing is right, you will read this…or not 😉
